Nestled amongst serene woods, our hostess Valeria welcomed us to a historic hotel that felt like home with ancient Italian charm. Our room, Fra Ginepro, was thoughtfully designed with delicate paintings, incredible views, ancient furniture, and a long past that enchanted us. We enjoyed exploring the wine cellars, library, sculptures, and chapel. Their staff was kind and quirky, enhancing our genuine countryside experience. We relaxed while drinking in the mesmerizing views from the breakfast and dinner areas and relished dinner menus curated by Marcelo, the talented chef.
Despite the fantastic walk into town, the way back may be more challenging, requiring transportation.

Great pool with a fantastic view of the surrounding hills. Good food options, but a bit expensive. The location is peaceful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle.
Rooms were not up to my expectations. Considerably small and uncomfortable with old-fashioned furnishings.
